Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee 20g, freeze-dried preferred
  • 2 tablespoons granulated white sugar 25g
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water 30ml, 200-212°F
  • 1 cup cold milk 240ml, whole or dairy-free
  • 4-6 ice cubes optional

  • Electric hand mixer (150–200 watts)
  • Medium mixing bowl (glass or ceramic)
  • Tall drinking glass (10–12 oz)
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Thermometer (optional but helpful)

Method
 

  1. Ensure mixing bowl and beaters are completely clean and oil-free
  2. Combine instant coffee and sugar in bowl
  3. Add boiling water and stir for 10 seconds until sugar dissolves
  4. Whip with electric mixer on medium speed for 3-5 minutes until stiff peaks form
  5. Fill glass with cold milk and optional ice
  6. Dollop whipped coffee on top and serve

Notes

- Only instant coffee works; ground coffee will not whip
- Water must be boiling (200-212°F) for proper foam formation
- Whip until peaks stand upright without drooping
- Foam can be stored refrigerated for 3-5 days
